Enron Corp. Cash Balance Plan

The Enron Corp. Cash Balance Plan was terminated effective May 30, 2004. Participants eligible for benefits from the Plan have had annuities purchased on their behalf.  For information about those annuities you will need to contact the insurance company that is providing your benefit.  Please keep in mind that some Plan participants may have a benefit payable from more than one company and you may need to contact more than one company.  For your convenience, we are providing you with information and toll-free telephone numbers for each company.

Prudential Life Insurance Company annuity benefit.

Effective September 1, 2005, Prudential assumed responsibility for handling all administrative functions relating to the annuity previously purchased for you by Enron Corp. under the Prudential Group Annuity Contracts, GA-5677 and GA-5518. This annuity, formerly administered by Enron Corp. may cover some or all of the benefit earned by you as a participant in the Enron Corp. Cash Balance Plan. All questions regarding your Prudential benefit should be directed to the Prudential Participant Service Center at 1(800) 421-1056.

Metropolitan Life Insurance Company annuity benefit.

Effective February 1, 2006, MetLife assumed responsibility for handling all administrative functions relating to the annuity previously purchased for you by Enron Corp. under the MetLife Group Annuity Contract GAC #5840C. The Plan benefits provided under the annuity contract includes Plan benefits that accrued under the Kiewitt Continental, Inc. Pension Plan. This annuity, formerly administered by Enron Corp. may cover some or all of the benefit earned by you as a participant in the Enron Corp. Cash Balance Plan, the successor Plan to the Kiewitt Continental Plan.  All questions concerning your MetLife benefit should be directed to the MetLife Pension Information Service Center at 1(800) 638-5656.

John Hancock Life Insurance Company and Hartford Life Insurance Company annuity benefit.

In March 2006, Enron Corp. purchased annuities on your behalf from two companies, the John Hancock under group annuity contract GAC-17367 and The Hartford Life Insurance Company under group annuity contract GA-20437 to fund the benefit payable by the Enron Corp. Cash Balance Plan.  Each company is responsible for and guarantees one half of your annuity benefit.  These annuities may cover some or all of the benefit earned by you as a participant in the Enron Corp. Cash Balance Plan.  For your convenience John Hancock will be responsible for making your John Hancock and Hartford benefits payments and serves as your single point of contact for all matters and questions related to your benefits. All questions should be directed to the John Hancock Service Center at 1(800) 624-5155.
